"13" Lights Have Arrived In Times Square For New Year's Eve

Last Wednesday, the New Year's numerals have arrived in Times Square via truck and "lucky 13" are now on display at the Times Square Museum and Visitor Center. All in all there will be 529 Philips LED bulbs in the 2013 sign (145 bulbs in the "2," 164 in "0," 72 in "1," and 148 in the "3"). Lucky "13" will be on display until December 26th before they join "20" and get hoisted above Times Square. Also in the photos is the New Year’s Eve Centennial Ball, which stood atop One Times Square in 2007. The Times Square Museum and Visitor Center is located at 47th Street and 7th Avenue.

I've done Boston's "First Night" . . . Cannot even imagine what it must be like to do New Year's Eve in NYC.
