There are a number of television talk shows based in New York City. One of them is "Anderson Live," formerly known as simply "Anderson". The syndicated talk show is hosted by CNN anchorman Anderson Cooper, who also serves as co-producer. The show debuted on September 12, 2011 and is distributed by Warner Bros. Television in the United States and Canada. Now in its second season, the shows are being taped inside Studio 42 soundstage at the CBS Broadcast Center at 57th Street between 10th and 11th Avenues. On October 29, 2012, it was announced that Anderson Live would not return for a third season because it failed to achieve the ratings breakthrough Warner Bros. had hoped for. The photo above shows studio audience members entering the CBS Broadcast Center for a taping of a segment that features the cast of the new movie, "The Hobbit."
