Dog Days Of Summer

Heat wave enters its fourth day today in the New York City area as temperatures soared to almost 100°F. According to forecasters, today is the hottest day of the city's week-long heat wave. Photos were taken at Washington Square Park, Columbus Circle and Lincoln Center. The video is by Colby Moore.

Picture 10 made me laugh . . . (looks like water is fountaining from the mouth)

Really liked your use of the black and white.

Detroit is still in the 90's with high humidity, but today it was really windy. Very odd since it is usally dead calm with those temps unless a storm is coming in, but it did make it more bearable.

Pic 10 made me laugh too when I realized the outcome of the photo. It was not intentional. Heat wave here continues but it will get better on Sunday.

Keep cool, Alice.
