George Segal's "The Commuters" at the Port Authority Bus Terminal

Installed at the Port Authority Bus Terminal is a sculpture by American artist, George Segal called “The Commuters.” The three bronze with white patina statues depict commuters waiting for the bus, about to walk through an open door with the words "NEXT DEPARTURE" and a clock set at 3:00 o’clock. The piece was created in 1980 and measures 84" x 72" x 96". The Port Authority Bus Terminal is located on 8th avenue between 40th and 41st Streets.

I just wish he put a little more work into it . . . they all obviously have there eyes closed. Ah well, tis only my opinion.
