Lady Gaga made an appearance on NBC's Today Show this morning, and also performed for an estimated twenty thousand fans in and around Rockefeller Plaza for the morning show's outdoor Toyota Summer Concert Series. Wearing an all-white ensemble, the singer started her set with the classic Gershwin ballad 'Someone to Watch Over Me,' then transitioned into her hit 'Bad Romance.' In an intreview with Today Show hosts, Ann Curry and Meredith Vieira, the most popular person on Facebook said, "There are certainly things that are difficult to deal with, but the kind of fame that I cherish is the relationship I have with my fans." She also performed 'You and I,' a brand new song from her upcoming record. The artist played the soulful rock ballad and climbed atop the piano for the finale of the song. Gaga also performed 'Alejandro' and 'Teeth.'
Thousands of young fans camped outside the Today Show studio beginning more than 24 hours prior to the morning program. Lady Gaga sent out pizza and water to camped out fans last night. She is a native New Yorker who is "just trying to change the world, one sequin at a time."
