NBC has set up an "automat" in Grand Central Terminal's Vanderbilt Hall to promote the new television series "America's Next Great Restaurant" to be hosted by Bobby Flay. It's not exactly a vending machine, but a series of cubby holes for free food for commuters. Some of the free food include marinated chickpeas, cheddar béchamel mac and cheese, and fried chicken slider. The promotion is on today and tomorrow from 9 AM to 7 PM, in advance of the television series premiere of the show on March 6.
