Contemporary artist, Ted Mikulski is currently having his solo art exhibition at the Dorian Grey Gallery located at 437 East 9th Street. Prior to his debut exhibition, he launched a unique promotional campaign called "Free Art Project" in which he gave away 1,040 pieces of art for free in 10 different locations in Manhattan including Astor Place, Union Square (photo above), Times Square, the Flatiron District and on Fifth Avenue near the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He tweeted his followers the location where he would stand with a sign that says "Free Art (seriously)" with his wonderful pieces to give away.
