Her name is Therisa Barber, and she's a friend of mine. She came from England to New York to pursue a dance career, and she started this living statue act at the urging of a friend while auditioning for Broadway roles. She's been doing it for four years this September. Check out her MySpace page at www.myspace.com/ballerinamime - where you can see what she looks like without makeup - and then go to my article about her at www.therisabarberarticle.blogspot.com .

The videos on her page? I didn't film them, but I did embed them for her. :-)
