Jerelyn Hanrahan‘s 50-foot long strand of pearls is currently on display at the outdoor sculpture garden of the Jim Kempner Fine Art gallery. The piece is made of cast portland cement with UV resin protective coat. The installation was part of an exhibit called "Bling" that celebrates flash and ostentation. The pearls are an interactive sculpture that can serve as a bench. The Jim Kempner Fine Art is located at 501 West 23rd Street near the High Line.
