A prominent neon billboard on East Houston has been installed as a high-profile advertisement for the A and E television debut of the new series called "Bates Motel". A Hitcock-inspired spinoff, the series focuses on the relationship between Norman Bates and his mother prior to the events in the movie "Psycho." The Bates Motel debut aired on A and E on March 18.

Three-Minute Digital Art in Times Square: Tracey Emin's "I Promise To Love You"
Love is in the air in Times Square. At 11:57 every night this February, Tracey Emin's new work, "I Promise To Love You" is being featured in the heart of Times Square. Her new digital art work consists of neon signs that include the phrases "Love is what you want," "You touch my soul," and "I can't believe how much I loved you", spelled out as if written by an invisible hand. The project is part of the "Midnight Moment" presentation, an initiative by the Times Square Advertising Coalition who have granted the Times Square Alliance three minutes a day to organize fleeting public art projects.
