The 10,000 square-foot 1D (One Direction) World pop-up store opened at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan last month. The store has been popular among fans of the British boy band, One Direction. While Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson might not be at the store in the flesh, the likeness of the five band members are everywhere including full size posters of each artist. The merchandise for sale include varsity jackets, hoodies, beanies, gloves, posters, t-shirts Christmas stockings, bracelets, headphones, etc. Tourists and fans are encouraged to sign on the walls as they visit the store which is located at 2 Penn Plaza (33rd & 7th Ave), The store is open from 10 AM to 8 PM weekdays, and until midnight on Fridays. The store will be open through Sunday, December 30, 2012.
