Barry McGee's Mark Morris Dance Center Mural in Fort Greene, Brooklyn

California-based artist Barry McGee created this 96-by-67-foot mural (Untitled, 2012) on the east wall of the Mark Morris Dance Center in the culturally rich neighborhood of Fort Greene in Brooklyn. The colorful artwork is comprised of small squares on a grid. Each square holds a brightly colored geometric pattern or set of letters. A few hold drawings of cartoon-like faces or spray cans. The mural was photographed by Jason Schmidt and showcased in the December issue of Vanity Fair magazine.
