BAKER STREET An Irish Pub In New York With A London Address

Baker Street, an Irish Pub that is a popular gathering place to celebrate St. patrick's Day is located on First Avenue at 63rd Street. According to its website, this pub/restaurant takes its name from the home of Sherlock Holmes. Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson lived at 221b Baker Street between 1881-1904, according to the stories written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The Baker Street Pub/Restaurant was the original location for the first TGI Fridays in 1965, and was also the location used for the movie "Cocktail" starring Tom Cruise.
