As part of the Times Square Alliance Public Art Program, THEATRE FOR ONE is having a 10-day residency in Duffy Square. Theatre For One was conceived by CRISTINE JONES, a Tony Award nominated set designer (for "American Idiot"). Her theater is a movable box 9 feet long and 4 feet wide. Theatre For One stages short performances including six new plays and a dance piece, along with musicians, a stand-up comedian and a puppeteer, among other performers. Just as every performance will have only one audience member, every performance will have only one performer. And every seat is front row center! Theatre For One runs through May 23.
