Street Scenes: Fifth Avenue

Here are some images made on Fifth Avenue made recently. A major thoroughfare in Manhattan, Fifth Avenue is ranked as one of the world's most expensive retail spaces on a cost per square foot basis. The avenue also serves as the dividing line between East and West for street address numbering. 

West 67th Street

This is 67th Street between Central Park West and Columbus Avenue. On the right side is the ABC television network and on the left are residential buildings as well as the restaurant called Cafe Des Artistes.

On a snowy Sunday morning on my way to the Upper Westside's Juice Generation, I made this image of a great-looking street. The photo was taken from the Amsterdam Avenue side.

BRIGHT NIGHTS

I made this photograph of 67th Street by night from the northeast corner at Columbus Avenue on Manhattan's Upper Westside. Lined with illuminated trees, this street is between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West. On the right side of the street is the ABC television network and on the left are affluent residential buildings and one of New York's most famous restaurant, Café Des Artistes.
